A unified dashboard for Mars time, season tracking, dust-storm risk, habitat siting, and mission planning. Built on NASA MOLA topography, MARCI weather, and the Allison & McEwen time formulas.
MOLA color-shaded relief and named features from NASA Trek WMTS. Toggle layers to inspect landing sites, hazards, and candidate habitat zones.
24-month Darian calendar (Gangale 1986), Allison & McEwen Mars Sol Date, and Ls-driven seasonal tracker. All values update live.

Ls-driven seasonal climatology baseline blended with MY36/37 historical activity to produce a 30-sol forward risk curve. Latitude band cells show conditional probability of regional storm activity.
Hohmann-transfer approximation using Mars synodic period (~779.94 days). Select a target arrival Ls and the planner finds the next viable launch window and corresponding Earth/Mars geometry.
Multi-criteria scorer weighted by elevation (atmospheric braking), latitude (insolation & communications), terrain ruggedness proxy, and dust-storm climatology. Drop a pin on the map or pick a candidate to score.
Mars Sol Date and MTC follow Allison & McEwen (2000) with the standard JDTT offset 2405522.0028779 and sol length 88775.244 s. The Darian calendar (Gangale, 1986) divides the Mars tropical year into 24 months of 27 or 28 sols.
Base tiles served from NASA's Mars Trek WMTS: MOLA color-shaded relief, Viking MDIM 2.1 grayscale mosaic, and MOLA hillshade.
Climatological baseline derived from Ls-binned regional storm frequency (Mars Climate Database; Battalio et al. MY36 study). Latitude-band conditional probabilities reflect MARCI-observed activity patterns: cap-edge frontal systems near Ls 180–230°, southern subtropical at 240–280°.
Weighted multi-criteria model. Elevation proxy approximated from MOLA at the queried coordinate via a coarse offline grid; in production this calls a tile-server elevation API.
